Ten volle Tweetalig

(I gets from time to time distant seeks to from my Afrikaans blogs to English to translate. Then I thought I to summer quickly this story to translate as when I writes it.)

(Be clean to but please if my English distant languages sometimes not is gramatically right.)

Geniet dit!
(Enjoy it!)

(As in the time of the Frontpullers, me and my heavy, John, went to shoot for iron pigs and stink mice dogs with a double walk hail gun.)

Uiteindelik sien my swaer, Jan, ‘n stinkmuishond.

(At last my heavy, John, saw for a stink mouse dog.)

Hy sit ‘n patroon in die loop,

(He puts a pattern in the walk,)

lê aan,

(lies on,)

trek los,

(pulls loose,)

(And there lies the stink mouse dog, bones in the light.)

(Just as us come close, us did smelt how the stink mouse dog stinks and us run quickly away.)

My voet hak toe vas aan die wortel van ‘n boom, ek slaan neer en breek my sleutelbeen.

(My foot hooks fast to the carrot of a tree, I falls down and breaks my keybone.)

By die hoofpad uitgekom, staan daar ‘n ou met ‘n pap wiel.

(By the chief road outcomed, there stands an old with a porridge wheel.)

(He asks for us if us knows where he can get a motor harbour to get some sky for his after wheel.)

(From pure motherlessness, us stay sits just there next to the road.)

(Later it gets close darker and the thunder clouds pack together.)

(Heavy John goes fetch close but the stink mouse dog,)

ons maak 'n vuurtjie,

(we makes a fire small,)

(And later that evening, eats us to too nice on the stink mouse dog his stink meat....)

Tot volgende keer
(To next stop)
